Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts and menu bar access on desktop.

Nexus

macOSCmd+Shift+V
WindowsCtrl+Shift+V
Linux(none) — assign in Settings → Shortcuts

Change under Settings → Shortcuts. On Linux, ClipaX does not ship a default global hotkey and does not use in-app global hooks; when you set a shortcut there on X11, ClipaX registers a system shortcut in your desktop environment (GNOME, KDE, Cinnamon, etc., where supported).

Linux Wayland

hotkey_manager is not reliable on all Wayland setups. Create a desktop shortcut that runs:

/path/to/clipax --show-nexus

Copy the exact command from Settings → Shortcuts.

Main window

Open ClipaX from the menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows/Linux).
