Cross-Platform Sync

ClipaX runs on:

Your clipboard history syncs across all your devices so you can copy on one and paste on another.

Cloud Storage

Choose where your data lives. ClipaX supports:

• Google Drive
• Dropbox
• OneDrive
• WebDAV (self-hosted or compatible services)
• Aliyun Drive (阿里云盘)

Sync is incremental and efficient: only new or changed items are transferred.

End-to-End Encryption

• Your clipboard data is encrypted with AES-GCM before it leaves your device.
• You set and manage the encryption key; it is never sent to our servers.
• Sync storage (e.g. Google Drive) only sees encrypted blobs.

Search & Filter

Find what you need quickly:

• Keyword search — Search in text, links, and file names.
• Time range — Today, yesterday, this week, last week, last 30 days.
• Content type — Text, image, link, file, or mixed.
• Source app — Filter by the application that produced the copy.
• Category — Use your custom categories.
• Favorites — View only starred items.

Quick Access Panel & Shortcuts

• Open the clipboard panel with a global hotkey.
• Paste any history item with one action.
• Works alongside your normal workflow without leaving the keyboard.

Organization

• Categories — Create custom categories and assign items.
• Favorites — Star important entries for quick access.
• Pin — Pin items so they stay at the top.

Content Types

OCR & Link Preview

• OCR — Extract text from images automatically so you can search and copy it.
• Link preview — See a preview of URLs (e.g. title, description) directly in history.

History & Deduplication

• Retention — Set how long to keep history: one day, one week, one month, one year, or forever.
• Deduplication — Duplicate content is detected and filtered so the same paste does not clutter the list.
• Source tracking — Each entry can show which app it came from.
