Frequently asked questions about ClipaX.

Why is my copy missing on iPhone?

iOS only updates ClipaX when the app is open or in the foreground. Copy in another app, then switch back to ClipaX. If you see a clipboard access prompt, choose Allow so ClipaX can read the pasteboard.

Cloud Sync does not work

  • Confirm Pro+Sync is active (Lifetime alone is not enough).
  • Sign in and enable sync under Settings → Cloud Sync.
  • Re-authorize the provider if tokens expired.

Google sign-in failed on Android

Ensure you use the app build from Play or official APK with correct OAuth configuration. Try again on a stable network.

Nexus does not open on Linux

Linux has no default Nexus shortcut. Add one under Settings → Shortcuts. If ClipaX cannot register the hotkey (common on Wayland), add a system shortcut manually that runs clipax --show-nexus. See Shortcuts.

Pro features not unlocked after purchase

  • iOS / macOS (App Store): Tap Restore purchases in Settings → Account. Restart the app if needed.
  • Windows, Linux, macOS (DMG), Android (APK), and other non–App Store builds: Sign out in Settings → Account, then sign in again to refresh subscription status.
